For the past 15 years, I’ve embarked on a thrilling journey as a travel photographer through the enchanting landscapes, diverse cultures, and the vibrant souls of Pakistan. However, it’s the portraits I’ve taken during this time that have resonated most with viewers and have now become the heart of my recently launched photobook, “Faces of Pakistan: A Journey through Portraits.”
As a photographer who’s traversed every nook and cranny of my beautiful homeland, I’ve had the privilege of meeting its incredible people, capturing their expressions, and freezing moments in time. Each face tells a unique story, and each portrait unveils a facet of Pakistan’s rich tapestry.
The journey began more than a decade ago. Many of the people I photographed, especially the children, have since grown up.
